Reporting to OLGR

Board Responsibilities > Reporting

Charitable Fundraising

If you intend to raise frunds from the Public you need to register with the Office of Liquor gaming and Racing.
(Religious exemptions for a denomination don't apply as a Board includes many denominations)

See the links below as well as a sample completed form

Note the funds raised must be either banked in a separate bank acccount or accounted for separately.
In practice it is easier to use a separate ledger account rather than a separate bank account.

Note that Incorporated organisations are not required to lodge returns to OLGR unless requested to do so.
You need to complete parts of the Application Form when your authority to fundraise expires (generally after 2 years)

"
Audited accounts are prepared for each financial year; however, you only need to submit them to us in the following situations:

       -       with your original application for a licence (authority to fundraise)
      -       with your application for a renewal of a licence
       -       if OLGR asks you to submit audited accounts.
